Sohoton Cove is truly magnificent and needs to be seen to be believed. The only entrance to this maze of limestone islets is a cave that vanishes during high tide. It’s decorated with stalactites of all shapes & sizes. Inside the caves, the light combines with the water to create a bright fluorescent colour when splashed. There’s swimming, diving, kayaking and snorkelling as part of the trip.
Location: The park is located on the southern tip of Siargao’s neighbouring island, Bucas Grande.
Details: Sohoton Cove is a full day trip. It consists of a 2 hour boat ride each way. Collection and drop off at Kalipay Resort, the boat, lunch, entrance fees and tour guide are included.
Suggestions: Bring your camera with you and don’t forget the sunscreen. A waterproof bag is a good thing to have.
