We are located midway between the heart of General Luna and the famous Cloud 9 surf break & beach, we are 2 minutes ride from both, on the main Tourism Road, so getting everywhere (beaches, bars, restaurants, sights and surfing) is quick and easy.
We are a 45 minutes ride from Del Carmen airport and 30 minutes from Dapa Port. We can arrange transfers, tours and activities for you according to your requirements.
Our location along Tourism Road in General Luna means transport is plentiful and everything is nearby and easy to get to. We rent out bicycles, cars, tuk tuk’s and motorbikes for those who want them, or a tricycle/tuk tuk can be hailed outside at all times.
Kalipay means Happiness in the local dialect of Bisaya and happiness is what we are all about. Primarily this is what we aim to ensure our restaurant and resort guests experience here, but we also work to promote staff well-being and happiness, and believe a happy team means happy guests!
Message from Us:
The owner James, resort manager Jen and all staff are available to assist you and ensure you have everything you need during your stay with us. Our warm and friendly local team has a tradition of excellence in service and are dedicated to your well-being. Our resort has been designed to provide a unique and relaxing experience for all of our guests.
Siargao is a protected landscape and seascape & we need to respect that we are on a small island in the Pacific. We ask our guests to assist us in preserving the environment here.
Some of the things we do include encouraging guests not to use single use plastic like disposable bottled water and take away containers. We provide free water gallons in rooms and re-usable steel drinking tumblers for all guests to fill & take out with them.
We have waste segregation trash bins in the rooms to separate plastic, metal, glass etc for recycling. To avoid plastic bags, we have locally made shopping baskets for guests to take out with them. All the bean bags in rooms are filled with locally generated recycled plastic and our bathroom soaps are offcuts and Philippine produced.
