Siargao is known as the surfing capital of the Philippines and one of the best places to surf in Asia.

Surfing is what made Siargao famous & the island has breaks for advanced surfers, as well as providing perfect conditions for intermediates wanting to improve and beginners wanting lessons.

Location: Siargao has lots and lots of surf breaks, both well known and secret spots. Over 25 different surf breaks are within 20 minutes of Kalipay Resort. The closest are Tuason Point and the famous Cloud 9, which is ranked one of the top 10 waves in the world (2-3 minutes on a motorbike).

Within paddling distance of Cloud 9 are five other breaks including Jacking Horse reef and Jacking Horse beach, which provides a great set up for beginners to have lessons and practice.

Kalipay Resort is partnered with experienced surf instructors and also organises surf board rental for guests.
