Kalipay Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Kalipay Resort Siargao! These Terms and Conditions govern your reservation, stay, and interactions with our resort. By booking with us, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

1. BOOKINGS & PAYMENTS

Kalipay Resort Siargao accepts reservations through multiple platforms:

  • Official Website (Cloudbeds): Payment is required in full within six (6) hours of booking. Available payment methods include bank transfer, PayPal, credit card, and GCash.

 

  • Booking.com (Hotel Collect): Payment is not processed by Booking.com. Instead, guests must settle the full amount directly with us via Tab Payments (which incurs a 4% processing fee). We may contact you via booking.com inbox, email, WhatsApp, Viber or SMS to arrange payment.

     

  • Airbnb & Agoda (Channel Collect): Payment is processed directly through these platforms. Guests do not need to make additional payments to us before arrival.

     

To secure your reservation, full payment must be made within six (6) hours of booking. Unpaid reservations will be automatically canceled.

    • (No additional charges for payments made from a PayPal balance. Credit card payments via PayPal may incur a fee.)

    • Payments via Tab Payments (secure payment link sent upon request). A 4% processing fee applies. Contact us via email reservations@kalipaysiargao.com so we can send you a Tab invoice.

       

  • GCash:

Important: Guests are responsible for all transfer fees to ensure Kalipay Resort receives the full amount. Any unpaid fees will be collected upon arrival.

 

2. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

  • Cancellations made at least 14 days before check-in will receive a full refund (excluding transfer fees)..

     

  • Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival will be charged the full amount of the reservation.

     

  • No-shows and last-minute cancellations are non-refundable. Rebooking to a future date is not allowed inside 14 days of check-in date..

     

  • Kalipay Resort is not responsible for unforeseen circumstances, such as flight cancellations, travel restrictions, or personal emergencies.

     

For any modifications or cancellation requests, please contact us via email or WhatsApp.

 

3. CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT POLICY

  • Check-in: From 2:00 PM onwards. If arriving later than 6:00 PM, please notify us at least one (1) day in advance to arrange for late check-in.

     

  • Check-out: By 11:00 AM. Late check-out may be accommodated subject to room availability.

     

  • All room charges must be fully settled before check-out. We accept cash and credit card payments at the resort.

     

4. ROOM OCCUPANCY & BED SPECIFICATIONS

  • Luxury Studio Suite: Maximum occupancy 4 people. Additional charges apply:
    • ₱1,500 per night for a 3rd person.
    • ₱1,500 per night for a 4th person.
    • A double-size sofa bed can be set up in the living room (separated by a divider from the bedroom). No extra sofa beds are available.

       

  • King Room: Maximum occupancy 2 people.

     

  • All rooms have a king-size bed only (no twin/single beds available).

     

  • Children older than 2 years old are counted as additional persons.

     

5. RESTAURANT POLICY

  • Breakfast and lunch: Available from 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

     

  • Dinner: Served from 5:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

     

  • In-house guests receive a 20% discount on food and beverages.

     

  • The restaurant can open a tab for in-house guests, but all food and beverage payments must be settled in cash before check-out.

     

6. GENERAL RESORT POLICIES

  • Smoking: Prohibited inside guest rooms. Guests are allowed to smoke in room balconies and open air areas only.

     

  • Damages: Guests will be charged for any damage to resort property.

     

  • Pets: No pets allowed.

     

  • Lost & Found: Items left behind will be held for 30 days before disposal or donation to local charity.

     

7. LIABILITY & FORCE MAJEURE

Kalipay Resort Siargao is not liable for:

  • Personal injuries, losses, or damages incurred during your stay.

     

  • Unforeseen events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, power outages, travel disruptions or flight cancellations.

     

Guests are advised to secure travel insurance for coverage in case of emergencies.

 

8. BUSINESS PERMITS & LEGITIMACY

Kalipay Resort Siargao is a legally registered business in the Philippines. We comply with all necessary permits and regulations.

For verification, guests may request to view our permits displayed at the resort reception.
